Catching Your Bus
- Stand at a BAT bus stop sign (located on telephone poles on nearly every other block along the route).
- Signal the driver by raising your arm as the bus approaches. If the signs are on the opposite side of the street, stand across from a pole with sign
- To get off the bus, signal the driver by pushing the buzzer.
Rider Guidelines
- No smoking
- No eating or drinking
- Reserve designated seats for passengers with disabilities
- No cursing or disruptive behavior
- No littering
- No hazardous items (gas cans, batteries, etc)
- Exact fare is required; no change will be given
- No writing on seats or bus destruction
- Do not stick arms, hands, or head out of window of bus
- No standing in front of the yellow standee line
- Riders under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be removed by police
- Shirts and shoes must be worn
- Do not engage in unnecessary conversation with drivers
- Do not cross in front of BAT buses
