INVITATION FOR BIDS
REMOVE AND REPLACE MAINTENANCE FACILITY HVAC RTU

Contractors/Vendors are invited to submit sealed bids to the Brockton Area Transit Authority (BAT) for the removal and replacement of the HVAC Rooftop Unit (RTU) at the BAT Maintenance and Operations Facility (MOF). Work will be scheduled to commence immediately upon acceptance of the most advantageous bid provided by a responsible contractor/vendor and must be completed by June 30, 2021.

The bid requirements and solicitation documents are available at no cost at the BAT Administrative Office, 155 Court Street, Brockton, MA 02302 during regular business hours. Additionally, requests may be sent to BAT by e-mail to: jmech@www.ridebat.com. Be sure to include all contact information with your request.
A non-mandatory pre-bid walk-thru will be held at the BAT MOF located at 1442 Main Street, Brockton, MA 02301 on Friday, April 16, 2021 at 12:00PM.
All bids must be sealed and submitted in accordance with the bid documents. Bids are due at BAT no later than 2:00PM on Friday, April 30, 2021, whereupon all bids will be publicly opened and read. Bids must be submitted on the required forms. This contract is subject to M.G.L. c 30, Section 39M, and Massachusetts Prevailing Wage and Federal Davis Bacon Wage Rates.
BAT may reject any and all bids when required to do so by the above referenced statute or waive any informality if it determines it to be in the public interest to do so.
The award of this contract is contingent on the availability of funds from the U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Transit Administration and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) are encouraged to respond to this solicitation.
