BROCKTON AREA TRANSIT AUTHORITY
INVITATION FOR BIDS
TO
INSTALL POURED IN-PLACE CONCRETE (MARKET BASKET)
Vendors are invited to submit sealed bids to the Brockton Area Transit Authority (BAT) to install cast in-place concrete sidewalk to support development of a transit hub at the Westgate Mall in Brockton. Work will be scheduled to commence immediately upon acceptance of the most advantageous bid provided by a responsive and responsible vendor.
The scope of work and solicitation documents are available at no cost at the BAT Administrative Office, 155 Court Street, Brockton, MA 02302 during regular business hours. Additionally, requests for documents may be sent to BAT by e-mail to: jmech@www.ridebat.com. Be sure to include all contact information with your request.
Sealed bids are due at BAT’s administrative office no later than 2:00PM on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, whereupon all properly submitted bids will be opened publicly and reviewed to determine the most advantageous offer. This contract is subject to M.G.L. c 30, Section 39M, and Massachusetts Prevailing Wages. BAT’s Standard Federal Terms also apply.
BAT may reject any and all bids when required to do so by the above referenced statute or waive any informality if it determines it to be in the public interest to do so.
The award of this contract is contingent on the availability of funds from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) are encouraged to respond to this solicitation.
