Brockton Area Transit has partnered with Uber to provide discounted late night rides within our service area everyday between 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
The After-Hours Workforce Transportation program helps second- and third-shift workers by subsidizing Uber rides in all BAT member communities. To participate, submit an application for review. If you qualify, BAT will provide a voucher that can be used in the Uber app to cover up to $9.00 per trip to or from work.
Eligibility:
This service is available to anyone who lives and works in the towns in BAT’s service area who need a ride to or from work between the hours of 9:00 PM and 6:00 AM. There is a short application process required just to ensure those eligibility requirements are met. Click here to apply!
Location of Service:
Any commutes with an origin and destination within BAT’s service area are eligible.(Abington, Avon, Bridgewater, Brockton, East Bridgewater, Easton, Hanson, Rockland, Stoughton, West Bridgewater, and Whitman)
How to Book a Ride:
- Sign up for the program using the online application by clicking the link below.
- Download and make an account with Uber (if you do not already have one).
- Once you are accepted into the program a $9.00 per trip voucher, up to ten vouchers per week, will be sent to your email.
- Accept your voucher.
- If your trip is eligible for the $9.00 discount, it will automatically be applied by Uber.
