BAT Request for Qualifications/Proposals:
Overnight Employment Transportation
Brockton Area Transit Authority (BAT) is seeking qualified firms to provide Overnight Employment Transportation Services. Brockton Area Transit (BAT) is a regional transit authority established pursuant to MGL c. 161B that provides fixed route transit service and door to door paratransit within the greater Brockton area. BAT has provided approximately 2 million unlinked passenger trips through all modes in FY24 and has a total of 48 fixed route buses. BAT’s core fixed route hours of operation are Monday through Friday 6:00am-9:00pm, Saturdays 7:20am-9:00pm and Sundays 7:20am-6:00pm.
The performance of this contract is subject to the requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and all equal employment opportunity requirements. BAT’s goal for DBE participation is 2.1 percent of funds expended in U.S. Department of Transportation assisted contracts. Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) and Women Business Enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit proposals in response to the request. This procurement is being financed in part with funds from the U. S. Department of Transportation, Federal Transit Administration (FTA). The resulting contract is subject to certain terms and conditions contained in the grant agreement between BAT and FTA and the BAT Standard Terms and Clauses to the extent that they are applicable.
