INVITATION FOR BIDS
FURNISH AND INSTALL
ELECTRICE VEHICLE CHARGING STATIONS AND
RELATED INFRASTRUCTURE
The Brockton Area Transit Authority (BAT) is soliciting bids from qualified firms to furnish and install Electric Vehicle Charging Stations and Related Electrical and Site Infrastructure for the BAT heavy duty transit fleet as described in the bid documents at the BAT operations and Maintenance Facility, 1442 Main St., Brockton, MA 02301. Bidders must provide either:
1. A DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility and Update Statement.
2. National Grid certified as EV Charging Station Installers and responses to 5 qualification questions.

Requests for bid documents may be mailed to the above address or by email at jmech@ridebat.com. The documents will be provided electronically.
A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at 3:00PM on April 9 , 2024 at the BAT Maintenance and Operations Facility at 1442 Main Street, Brockton, MA 02301. A project site tour and inspection will follow.
All bids must be sealed and submitted in accordance with the bid documents at the BAT Administrative Office, 155 Court St., Brockton, MA 02302 by 2:00 PM on April 25, 2024 whereupon all bids will be publicly opened and read consistent with M. G. L. c 30 Sec. 39M. Bids must be submitted on the required forms and accompanied by the required certifications and a Bid Deposit equal to 5% of the bid amount. This solicitation is subject to M.G.L. c 30, Sec. 39M and Massachusetts Prevailing Wage and Federal Davis Bacon Wage Rates.
BAT may reject any bids when required to do so by the above referenced statute or waive any informality if it determines it to be in the public interest to do so.
The award of this contract is contingent on the availability of funds from the U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Transit Administration, and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) are encouraged to respond to this solicitation.
