The Brockton Area Transit Authority (BAT) is excited to announce the upcoming launch of BAT Flex Bridgewater, a new app-based, on-demand transit service starting mid-November.
BAT Flex Bridgewater offers door-to-door rides within Bridgewater and nearby destinations — all at the tap of an app. Similar to Uber or Lyft, riders can book a trip when they’re ready to travel. Simply request a ride through the BAT Flex App, and a driver will arrive to pick you up and take you where you need to go.
Where You Can Go
BAT Flex Bridgewater serves:
- Anywhere within the Town of Bridgewater
- Trucchi’s Supermarket – West Bridgewater
- Market Basket – West Bridgewater
- Signature Healthcare (former Compass Medical) – East Bridgewater
- Ocean State Job Lot – East Bridgewater
- Old Colony YMCA – East Bridgewater

🕒 Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Affordable Fares
Just $1.50 per ride
Riders can pay directly through the app or set up a pre-funded account for easy payment.
How to Ride
- Open the BAT Flex App anytime during service hours.
- Enter your pickup and drop-off locations.
- Tap “BOOK” to request your ride.
A driver will be assigned, and the app will provide an estimated arrival time along with real-time vehicle tracking on the map. Please wait outside in a safe, visible location once your driver is on the way.
