REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

On-Call Electrical Contractor Services

The Brockton Area Transit Authority (BAT) is seeking proposals from qualified electrical firms to provide On-Call Electrical Contractor Services on an as needed basis. The contract shall be for a period of three years with two one-year options to renew at the sole discretion of BAT. BAT will request either a fixed fee proposal or a not to exceed amount proposal for each project that it undertakes under this contract.

A pre-proposal facility tour will take place at 2:00PM on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 beginning at 155 Court Street, Brockton, MA 02302. Proposals must be received no later than 2:00PM on Wednesday, January 10, 2024.

The performance of this contract is subject to the requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and all equal employment opportunity requirements. Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) and Women Business Enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit proposals in response to the request. This procurement is being financed in part with funds from the U. S. Department of Transportation, Federal Transit Administration (FTA). The resulting contract is subject to certain terms and conditions contained in the grant agreement between BAT and FTA and the BAT Standard Terms and Conditions to the extent that they are applicable.
