- Stand at a BAT bus shelter or designated BAT telephone pole. These designated telephone poles can be found on nearly every other block along each route and will be marked with a white wrap labeled with the Brockton Area Transit logo shown below.
- Signal to the driver by raising your arm as the bus approaches. If the signs are on the opposite side of the street, stand across from a pole that has a sign.
- To get off the bus, signal to the driver by pressing on the yellow strips located in each BAT vehicle on the walls, stanchions, or seats. This will turn on the stop request sign and chime.
