BROCKTON AREA TRANSIT AUTHORITY
INVITATION FOR QUOTES
REMOVE AND REPLACE ADMINISTRATION BUILDING HVAC UNITS
Contractors/Vendors are invited to submit written quotes to the Brockton Area Transit Authority (BAT) for the removal and replacement of HVAC heating and air conditioning units at the BAT Administrative Offices. Work will be scheduled to commence immediately upon acceptance of the most advantageous quote provided by a responsible contractor/vendor and must be completed by May 28, 2021.
The scope of work and solicitation documents are available at no cost at the BAT Administrative Office, 155 Court Street, Brockton, MA 02302 during regular business hours. A non-mandatory site walk will be held at BAT’s Administration Building located at 155 Court Street, Brockton, MA 02302 on Friday, March 19, 2021 at 10:00AM.
Written quotes are due at BAT’s administrative office no later than 2:00PM on Wednesday, March 31, 2021, whereupon all submitted quotes will be reviewed to determine the most advantageous offer. This contract is subject to M.G.L. c 30, Section 39M, and Massachusetts Prevailing Wages and Federal Davis Bacon Wage Rates. BAT’s Standard Federal Terms also apply. BAT may reject any and all quotes when required to do so by the above referenced statute or waive any informality if it determines it to be in the public interest to do so.
The award of this contract is contingent on the availability of funds from the U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Transit Administration and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) are encouraged to respond to this solicitation.
