REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

AUDIT SERVICES

The Brockton Area Transit Authority (BAT) is seeking proposals from firms qualified to provide audit services in connection with the Authority’s annual financial statement in accordance with applicable Government Auditing Standards, to report on internal controls and compliance with various laws, regulations, and grant contracts, in accordance with Federal Uniform Guidance, Audits of States, Local Governments and Non-Profit Organizations of the Authority’s major capital and grant programs. BAT seeks to engage a qualified firm to conduct an audit of its fiscal year 2024, 2025, and 2026 financial statements with an option for up to two additional one-year extensions subject to agreement.

Proposals must be received at the Brockton Area Transit Authority, Attn. Linda Sacchetti, CFO, 155 Court Street, Brockton, MA 02302 by 2:00 PM on March 28, 2024.

The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, and to waive any informality if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the Authority to do so.
